Miss North Dakota was recently introduced to STARBASE North Dakota, during a visit to Minot AFB schools. She was so intrigued by the program that she asked to come back.STARBASE North Dakota was able to schedule her a visit that
allowed her to spend the whole day with a class. The students loved having her. She joined a team for the whole day participating in all of the activities, such as, trebuchets, Pop Goes the Fizz, characteristic properties, CAD, and robotics.
Miss North Dakota mentioned at the end of the day, she was glad for the opportunities that her position provides and that she could experience the same STEM activities as the students.
